Bio Photo I live in Alabama and have been researching my family history on both sides for about 5 years. Both of my parents passed away when I was young, so my research is my only way to connect with my history. I am happy to be a member of Find-A-Grave and will be more than happy to help anyone I can with graves in my area... just message me!

RE: Thomas Cemetery
I have family on Charlie Penny Road. Or maybe it is Dogwood. Its my mom's cousins. But anyway, good cemetery to walk. Lots of shade and quite except some way off roosters. I love hearing them crow. And good to know you can take care of yourself. I cannot and will not go that far out by myself so a family member HAS to go with me when I go to my Little Granny's grave. We have found beer bottles 2 times in about 5 years out near the graves. Sorry, I ramble bad. Enjoy your visit.

RE: Thomas Cemetery
It is on CHARLIE PENNY ROAD, Jacksonville, AL. I do NOT have a number address. You can mapquest your address and this street name and it will help you. Please take note of the street names around it. IT really isn't far off of 204. It will seem like it, it is just really isolated. There isn't much of the cemetery visable from the road until you have passed the 1st driveway. So make sure your cell phone is charged and someone knows where your going. Maybe have the Jacksonville police number programed in cell just in case car trouble or lost. It is usually well kept but sometimes a tree may fall onto one of the driveways and cause you to back out. If you go to mapquest and satelite image you can get a good idea of what I am talking about. Enjoy your visit. JENNIFER
