Wrong Obit
Please disregard the previous posting. I was a off by a generation and was speaking of the Mildred McNeill Jackson born to Edward Herndon McNeill JR. I realize that Mildred McNeill Lavin is the d/o Edward Herndon McNeill SR.

My apologies.

Thank you.

Wrong obit
Thank you for posting info on Greenwood Cemetery.

The obit on doesn't belong to this person. The obit references a MILDRED M. LAVIN and is not the same as MILDRED ANN MCNEILL.

Mildred Ann McNeill was married to a Jackson. She was born 25 Jul 1928 and died 7 Jan 2004. See

Thank you.

RE: Mary Wallace
They were cut down. Probably big azalea bushes that just overtake markers. They grow well at Greenwood but are horrible for markers! They swallow them up or push them down. They cut the ones at the McNeill graves down to the ground.

Transferring momentarily...

Mary Wallace
Hi Lyn! Which name is her actual maiden name? Was McNeill another married name? If I put two names in the maiden name spot, only the first one is searchable, so I want to make sure it's the right one.

Do you know if there are any husbands to link her to? That way, if someone was to search for McNeill, they'll find a husband and see the link to her memorial.

This is your family, isn't it?? If you'd like me to transfer them to you, please let me know.

Their section is going to be my next project, and I should have pics for all of them in the next couple of weeks. It's really the last of the sections with the oldest graves.
