Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have a strong passion for genealogy and research,
This started about 15 years ago my mother Eleanora E Findley Scott started researching the history on Findley clan, but sadly she died before completing the family tree,
So when I have time I have been researching for our ancestors.

I love walking through the garden souls looking at the headstone each and every one of them tells a story. And it saddens me when you come across grave with no marker. Their story will probably never be told.

I had worked for cemetery for five years.

I had the opportunity to attend seminars for cemetery preservation workshops this was sponsored by Bedford historical Society in Bedford Ohio; this is really cool things we work on how to clean, and level them and to stand up the old tablets.
These are the very old white marble tablets from 1800s.

This information is very useful when you're looking for older grave.

I like looking at; the old advertisements for memorials and headstones, in old day you could walked right into the hardware store and order a monument for your loved one

My second passion is I represent Clarion monuments they are located in Clarion PA.

In doing genealogy and research I found out that everyone has a story, and it needs to be told!

RE: McCarrier
Thank you again so much for all your help. I have added the McCarriers. Frank and Martha are my good friend Gloria McCarrier in laws, and Joan was her sister in law. I asked her last night if she knew of the william L. McCarrier you spoke of and she did, he is a cousin to her husband Richard Lynn McCarrier.

All the memorials are created, thank you again for your help

Thank you Christopher, you are so generous in doing this. The McCarriers are close friends of mine, and Frank is actually the father in law of my good friends grandmother, whom is also a close friend of mine and I told her I would see about getting this info for her, and you have been very gracious in doing this.

RE: Photo request for John N McCarrier
Christopher, thank you for your reply.

I looked into the Eshenbough and the Andrew and Mary A. you listed have a memorial already for them with images in the one cemetery John Nelson McCarrier is listed in.

So im uncertain exactly the cemetery. I do not see a memorial of Minerva Eshenbaugh McCarrier, Johns wife.

Im also looking for their son Peter F. Mc Carrier and his son Frank Hoover McCarrier. Also Ive heard there is suppose to be a family McCarrier Monument stone.

Again I greatly appreciate your help and info, but am unsure now which exactly which cemeteries the are interred in.

RE: Andrew Wolford
You are absolutely wonderful. Thank you so much for the headstone photo for Sarah McNees Wolford and Perry Oliver Wolford. This is my Great Great Grandfather and Grandmother. I have created a memorial for Perry Oliver Wolford and was wondering if you could post the headstone photo to his memorial as well. His memorial is #135703530. I also would love to have the information for William Andrew Wolford he is the grandson of Perry Oliver Wolford. I created a memorial for him as well #135704226. Would you please post the picture to his memorial. Also did you see any information for his wife? Her name is Doris Dobson Wolford. I have been ordering obituaries from the Butler County Library and have slowly been putting everything together. Thank you so much for all of your help.

RE: Photo request for Nancy Heller
Hi Christopher,
Thanks so much for locating "cousin" Nancy. I got the burial info from her Death Certificate and assumed its accuracy. Should have known better, but at least I made a page for her and then you came along to help the process. Teamwork by concerned folks is a good thing! She is now located at Union Cemetery and you can do your photo thing.
Thanks again,
PS. When you said "they" are at Union, did you mean husband William, too? If so, I will create a page for him and you can add the marker photo. If he lived ca 1869-1948 I know about him now, after poking around
