|Charles Wunner||Christian C Wunner|
On 7/30/13 you posted a photo of Christian C Wunner. I am the fifth generation descendent of Christian. Christian, later legally changed his name to Charles, immigrated from Bavaria, married in NYC, had at least two sons, and enlisted in the Union Army. He made it to New Bern, NC as a prison guard. While in NC, and several years before his death, he became medically disabled with the "fits," or encephalitis, a virus of the brain, passed by mosquitos. He died in a NYC hospital. His widow Elizabeth received a pension from the Fed Gov't until her death at the age of 82. She is also buried in All Faiths Cemetery in a plot across the road with her two sons George and William.
I found the older stone in 2007. I arranged the new marker in 2009.

I see what you mean. I'm on the PC now, and they're sideways. On my iPad, they were right side up. I have to ask this, though I'm sure you thout of it: Is your original right-side up?
This grave photo may be ill-fated. Mine was troubling too, though the process was entirely different. However, the photo is good.
If you send it to me, I'll try loading it from here (giving you credit, of course). I'll leave the original in case that doesn't work either.

Are you using an IPad? I have this problem SEEING the position do the photo. On my IPad. other people see it right-side up.
Thanks so much for the photo. I'll see that you get credit for the photo when I load it, if you can't .

Thank You for taking my family's portrait all on one headstone. I just wish there were some dates. I added the pictures to all the persons and put you down as the photographer. Thanks again and God Bless You.

Thank you so very much for the photo of my great-grandfather's headstone. I appreciate it more than you know.

Thank you so much!! Your photos are beautiful! It's so sad that there is no headstone for Charles, but at least I know where he is. My grandfather Arthur Clancy (Charles' brother) died in Alaska & his body was shipped to NY, but I haven't been able to find out even what cemetery he is buried in. So at least I know where Charles is. :)
Thanks for taking the time to help me.
