Lieut. John Longstreth gravestone photo
May I have your permission to download the photo of the gravestone of Lieut. John Longstreth (Memorial# 5847538)?
I would like to upload it into my Ancestry family tree.
Thank you for your consideration.

Thank you so much for taking the time to locate and photograph the memorial for me, it is greatly appreciated!! I would like to ask your permission to use the photo of the marker for a WWII project I am working on, I hope you do not mind, please let me know.
If you ever happen to be in the same area of the cemetery again if you could take a photo of the photograph on the marker I would be grateful. Thanks again for your time and efforts, it is volunteers such as yourself that make this such a great site, Cheers!!

RE: Elizabeth Clevenger

Thank you for helping me to figure out which Elizabeth you were asking about. The photo of the grave of Elizabeth Clevenger that you have is not Elizabeth Adaline Clevenger. She is Elizabeth "Bettie" Mellott Clevenger (Find a Grave# 66836057) She is the wife of William Truax Clevenger. She was born 31 Dec 1800 and she died 29 Dec 1864. Elizabeth Adaline Clevenger (Find A Grave Memorial# 66836920) is the grand-daughter of the Elizabeth whose grave you have a photo of. I don't know who or if she married anyone. Clevenger is her maiden name. Her parents are Samuel M Clevenger (the son of William Truax and Elizabeth "Bettie") and Catharine Barton Clevenger.

I really appreciate all of your help. It never hurts to ask and I would much rather have some one ask than miss the chance of finding what I am searching for.

Thank you again,

RE: Elizabeth Clevenger

I'm sorry to be dense but I have a ton of Clevengers that I am working with. Can you tell me what cemetery, city, county and state we are talking about. If you have a Find A Grave memorial number for anyone in the family that would help me. I have several W Clevenger's and I'm not and several have Elizabeth named wives.

Thank you for your help again,

That would be he. Discrepancies on birth years are commonplace. It probably means that he lied about his age at enlistment because he was by law too old to enlist. Upload away!
