Done, David. Thanks.
Thank you for linking Eleazer to his father. It's good to meet another cousin.
Hi David, I have transferred the Markham memorial to you. I apparently missed an earlier email asking for it to be updated. I am not related. Homer

I just submitted a spreadsheet for most of the Gull Lake Cemetery. I have a little more info you might like to add to your contributions. I live in BC & we visited the cemetery this last summer.
1) 115206048 James Melvin Rogers - buried Block 6, Section 37, Plot 3
2) 115205873 Mary Ann Rogers - unfortunately I don't have the info where she might be buried. It could be in the plot right next to James. Gull Lake had a fire in 1928 & lost a lot of their records.

You're very welcome.
There is a gate, with a foot path, between the two cemeteries, very close to these graves. The two cemeteries also have more than one entrance, so it is a quick out one gate, down Remembrance Road past the police station and into the other cemetery.
To see the death notices on Google News Archives:
Near the top where is says All Newspapers, I click on M and the scroll down a bit to The Montreal Gazette (it's in the far right column). Then in the small box that says Date put 1957 and click Go.
Then click on View All under July 1957. The date of William's memorial was July 2, so I looked at July 3 - on page 1, I check the Index for Obituaries and then go to that page.
Sometimes you may need to check a few dates - I think for Ruth the notice was two days later.
Also sometimes the image that appears does not match the page number - so you need to move it forward or back as needed.
I have found this News Archives a great resource.
Hope this helps - Let me know if you have any problems.

to Mary Richan.
At Mount Royal the Binney grave L5 3700 is in the bushes. It had rained earlier this AM, the branches were heavy and low. I couldn't hold them back and get a good shot. I'll try again another day. The other Lamb/Richan grave in G3 - it looks like there is no stone, but I'll check again.
