I am a Quebecer for myself, I am French Canadian to Americans, I share the same North American culture and the same values.|
I am a lecturer and a high school teacher for whom genealogy is a pure pleasure, as reading or listening music for others.
Why I subscribed on this Website? Many or my ancestors and relatives died in the U.S.A.. It is for my a little contribution to the history and genealogy of both countries.
Don't be shy to write me, I don't bite...usually!

Hi Simon, nice to hear from you. I'll try and explain the connection we have - here goes.....My maternal grandfather's sister, Great Aunt Diana Gagnon married George Gagnon, their son, Gerard A. Gagnon (my 2nd cousin) married Rita Jean Fortier. Rita is the daughter of Wm and Rose Eva Bouffard Fortier, and Rose Eva is the daughter of Jos. Theophile and Alphonsine Gregoire Bouffard. I guess that makes us related by marriage - however distant. Hope I helped, and thank you for the kind words on the work I've done. St. Joseph's Cemetery is a VERY large cemetery. I have 7 generations of relatives there and with the large families cannot help being related to pretty much everyone there, one way or another. Smile. Regards, Suki Davey
