RE: Siblings of Asa White
Hi Pete,
Nice to visit with you again. I am guessing due to lack of documentation, that Ezra White is a son of William White and Eunice Rogers.

This is a cut and paste;

County Seat of Chenango NY is Norwich, NY. Counties in NY State were est. in 1683. Present-day Chenango County was part of Albany County.Albany County, NY was enormous, including the northern part of New York State and the present State of Vermont. In theory, Albany County, extended westward to the Pacific Ocean. On March 12, 1772, the remaining area of Albany County was split into 3 parts: Albany, Tryon, and Schenectady.
The Town of Bainbridge has a Village of Bainbridge located within it. The town is at the east border of Chenango County, halfway between Binghamton and Oneonta. 2000 Census pop: 3,401. Bainbridge

Bainbridge was formed Feb. 16, 1791, as "Jericho." It was then a part of Tioga County and retained its name until Apr. 15, 1814, when is received its present name. Situated on the Susquehanna River, near the center of the town, was incorporated Apr. 21, 1821.

I'm not sure about their son, Asa, but strongly hope he is the doctor. I found a Dr. Asa White in an early Illinois census, by the way. Now, I don't have a clue which county in Illinois or the census year. I do know it wasn't Marengo County, IL.

Cousin Sherry
