At this time I am interested in my direct family connections; Balcerowicz, Carroll, Cooper, Zewiske, Medlock, Forrest, Gilmore and Kreft(a).

When I do visit small cemeteries, I try to take pictures of the visible and legible markers to add into FAG.

I have almost no history on the; Balcerowicz, Kreft(a) and Zewiske(i)families that lived in Radom, IL and St Louis, the Griffith Cooper family that lived around Shelton, NE, and Joseph C Gilmore family that lived around Plattsmouth, NE. If anyone would have any info please send me an e-mail.

Kreft
My family has ties to the Radom area. My great-aunt (who lived in St Louis) had one daughter and she married a Kreft. The daughter became widowed or divorced from Mr Kreft and they had one son together. His son (or his son, I can't remember now) still resides in St Louis . I contacted him about 2 yrs ago to ask if he had any history on our mutual ancestors. He didn't at the time but our conversation got him curious and he wrote that he was going to begin doing some research into his family history. Possibly he is related to your Krefts in Radom?

RE: Johanna Musial Bak FAG# 76077974
Hello,
Yes, I got my info for Johanna Musial Bonk (or Bak) from the website "GenealogyTrails". Someone apparently got the death and burial info for St Michael's Church in Radom from the FamilySearch website and transcribed it to GenealogyTrails, Illinois, Washington County, Catholic Churches, St Michaels.
Could you tell me where the old section of the cemetery is located? Perhaps I could find my great-grandmother's name on one of the cement pads? I am trying to take a road trip to the area but expenses so far have prohibited me. I still hope to try in the fall but it would likely be over a weekend when no staff would be available to guide me to the old area and the cement pads.
Thank you!
Jen

RE: Michal and Marianne Wypijewski
There is always a burial permit for anyone buried in a Catholic Cemetery in Cook County Illinois. Please verify your memorial by contacting the cemetery. There were three cemeteries in Cook County Illinois that people referred to as the Polish Cemetery between 1895-1920. I have personally been to this cemetery to verify Michal and Marianne Wypijewski's daughter's burial location. This cemetery also told me her parents were not buried in this cemetery.
Appreciate all your help! Thank you

You are welcome and I am glad. I had a feeling when I saw you had requested transfer. She is buried in an area which has no maps to search. We are taking pictures of all of the available markers.

He has been connected. If you would like a transfer, let me know. I'm not related.

transfer done. 60 years wow things changed a lot since your last visit! I was born in Perry County but had a lot of family in many of the county's there. My 3rd great grand parents settled in that area and 2nd great grand parents are buried in St, Michael's with some other family members.

I added the links, if you would like me to transfer no problem just use the edit tab on memorial. Include your member number as well. Do you live near the cemetery? I live in Florida and go to the area for a family reunion every two years or sooner if needed.
