RE: photo
My g-father Frank Davis (memorial #20471002) is the brother of Bessie (memorial #24424026)she passed 1996. Pls look at these memorials & maybe there is something there that can be tied to this photo. Thanks

Does your family have ties to Oneida, Tennessee ?
Maybe that picture belongs to another, it's a very common name. great picture, hate to lose it.

RE: photo
Thanks for your patients, The man on the left is Frank Davis my g-father with his mother Sarah/Sally Hicks-Davis, Uncle on the right. I do not think this is the same Sarah but the man with his blue/light colored eyes could be Andy Davis or sometimes called AJ. Can you tell me more, year of pic or any notes on the pics? The man eyes r very light/blue/green like my g-father, Frank in my pic.
Until this is proven, would you pls remove your pic, thanks.

Please go to the memorial for Ora S. Smith; in upper right press EDIT; scroll down to linking family section and enter number you gave for father.

Ordinarily I have messages disconnected and again ordinarily I would simply fulfilled this request - HOWEVER:) it seems we have two memorials for different Ora Smiths. Thank you

How lucky to have these photos
All three sisters could be staring us in the face in those photos. How lucky we are and I am grateful to have those pictures. And to have such great clarity! I wish we had the story behind the picture & to have confirmation on the identities. How did you come across them and know that it was your ggrandmother? Do we have a date on when the photo was taken? Who is it more likely to be except her sisters? They posed for someone to take the photo? Are you familiar with the locations of where all the sisters lived, how far from each other, and where the photo was taken? Do you think they were in everyday clothes or costumes? Would you consider communicating by email rather than leaving public messages? I guess we'll have to do more research.

Which of Eliza's children is your grandfather?
Does the census paper's give the third sister's name? I will try to find it on the census. Interesting that we have not heard anything about her. Do you know any other cousins or family that traces genealogy? You asked if I knew anything about Carrie's last husband named Medlin. I do not have any information at all. Over the years, have you found any information from Carrie's lineage? She had a daughter named Ethel but I don't know nothing about her.

Photos of Carrie and Doc Woods
I've uploaded some photos of Carrie and Doc Woods (Carrie's first husband). Compare the shape of her face and the one lady spinning yarn photo. Do you think they're the same woman? I am going to add another photo under the memorial of HG Woods, Jr. which also has a picture of Carrie Woods. Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Carrie Medlin picture
I have found out that my scanner cannot do the job for scanning my pictures. So I have been doing some research to find out how is the best way to handle this. I have a few ideas. Please bear with me and I will upload as soon as I can.
