|Jill Alexander||RE: Lucinda Stout headstone|
Thanks so much for finding the headstone of Lucinda stout for me. I am sorry it has taken me so long to thank you. This email got lost on my computer and I just came across it today.
Warm regards, Jill
|Erin ||RE: John Grenard|
Thanks for taking another look. The infant is also names Desire Grenard, daughter of Elisha & Margaret Grenard. There is a relative who took photos recently for the memorials, though the pictures are quite blurry and difficult to read. I would appreciate having clear photos for my tree if you feel so inclined to photograph the few Grenard's and Westfall's buried in the cemetery as they are all related to me. Their daughter Elizabeth Westfall is my 4th great grandmother and she does have a stone in the cemetery, though her husband Enos we have never been able to confirm when he died or locate where is buried. No record seems to exist, though I am trying to narrow the timeline! He disappeared after Elizabeth died and the entire family fell off the grid in 1880, with a cousin living on his farm. The one mystery that has even the best of us family researchers stumped.
I did notice that many of the stones are broken from the pictures I have seen. I found a cemetery list and added the rest of the names for Turkey run to Find a Grave, so there is record of Desire in the cemetery, she may have had a stone at some point but 135 years later, one cant be to expectant to find much :-) I am just pleased to know that John's marker survived, and if no stone exists for Desire could you take an area shot with John's headstone to include both sides of the grass and add it to her memorial as I am sure she is probably buried right next to him.
Thanks again so much for your help, I appreciate your assistance since I cant do this myself. Let me know if you ever need any help with Oregon research.

|Erin ||John Grenard|
Thank you Lisa for taking a photo of john Grenard's headstone for me! John & Desire are my 5th great grandparents. I had a request out there for Desire as well, but maybe she doesnt have a headstone. Many of my family, the Grenards & Westfalls are buried in this cemetery and some of the photos are a bit hard to read, so thank you for taking a clear readable photo :-) May I use your photo in my ancestry.com family tree? I would give you photo credit if you are ok with this. Thanks again so much for making the effort to visit the cemetery on my behalf.
