No, I cannot take a picture. I live in Pennsylvania and am recovering from surgery. It is possible that I may never be able to walk in a cemetery again. A picture of a stone is not proof anyway. I have two relatives each with two different stones. One has two stones in the same cemetery, one has stones in two cemeteries. Sometimes things change after a stone is purchased.

I don't understand your question. I clicked on the link you sent and it took me to Mary Bickford Clark in Eastside Cemetery. Her memorial page is not one that I created. I clicked on the link to allow me to look at all the Clarks in the cemetery. There were none that I created and only one Mary Bickford Clark. Actually, I have no recollection of ever entering any information for anyone in this cemetery or any other cemtetery in Afton.

Please move Joseph to Calvary Cemetery where is actually buried. It is next to Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Paterson. I have a photo but I don't want to add it until you move him to the correct cemetery. Otherwise, I will add a memorial to the correct cemetery for him.

I already linked his wife to him so you can go there to see the headstone.

Thank you!

No headstone is seen, but you may want to contact the cemetery to see if a stone was actually placed, or if it is hidden from view, as sometimes happens especially with flush stones.Telephone: 216-421-2665, Fax: 216-421-2415

RE: George Potts
The inscription for George Potts reads as follows:

GEORGE S POTTS
NEW YORK
MECH 307 INF.
77 DIV.
JANUARY 12 1942

I posted a foil impression of the grave marker, although it isn't much easier to read.

RE: George Potts
I will get the inscription from this grave marker this week.

The national gravesite locator for the VA had this George Potts (middle name Simpson) listed for the Spanish American War, but all info that I followed up on had him born 29 May 1895 and having served in WWI. Just a typo for the VA I guess.

RE: George Potts
If you check the online nationwide gravesite locator for the Dept of VA, there are only 3 George Potts listed for the Long Island National Cemetery. It says that two served in the Spanish American War (the two photos that I took) and the third was born in 1920. I did see that James was there. Could your George be interred elsewhere?

I will get the inscription for you none the less.

Happy New Year.

RE: George Potts
I believe both of these George Potts served in the Spanish American War. There is a George T Potts who is also listed as interred in this cemetery. I think he was born in 1920.
