Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am the son of Ronald Frederick Palm and Sandra Jo Boardman Palm, and the grandson of Frederick Lehman Palm and Geraldine May Miller (nee Dorothy May Melcher). My sister Sherrod Palm Shiveley lives in Washington state, and I currently reside in Portland, Oregon.

I have a public tree on under "Palm Tree Reading, PA". All of the names represented in my Direct Ancestors virtual cemetery are there. Feel free to stop by either or both. After doing literally weeks of research on the tree, I took a moment to finish myself off on my 100th birthday in 2065 in the Armstrong Lunar Colony! But my choice of burial site was obvious: Sinking Spring, PA, Earth.

For those interested in seeing where we intersect in our family trees, I'd be happy to send you an invite to ours at Just message or email me. :-)

RE: Photo Requests
Bretton, Thanks for this info. I will certainly have a request printed out next time I go there, just in case. I talked to a director of another cemetery in town and his feeling was as long as it was requested from the family, that would be fine. Which it is. His concerns was to have someone come in to take a photo and then use that photo with the name on it printed in some form of advertisement. Then having a family member notice the name being in the ad and throwing a fit. I can see his point, but assured him that that is not what is happening and he was fine with it. I guess all cemetery don;t think the same. Keep the requests coming, I'm not giving up that easy.

RE: Photo Requests

Is that cleared to go for just your requests or all? How did that happen? Thanks, so much. I will be down there in a flash before they change their mind.

Thanks again.

Photo Requests
I was out at Forest Hills Cemetery trying to get some photos for your requests and we were told that they do not allow photos to be taken. If you can call the cemetery office at 610-779-2550 and request section information, I will try to get back out there on Sunday to photograph the markers.

Hi Bretton,

I just transferred some memorials to you that you sponsored -- one was Herbert Pickering. I just found his wife Merle and added her -- she is linked to him now. I added what information I had for her, if you have more please let me know. I can also transfer her memorial to you as well, just let me know.

Looks like Misty & Company took care of the transfer for you -- the memorial maintainer is the one to ask for a transfer, if a separate person maintains the memorial other than the memorial creator -- but I guess you figured that out already.

Sponsorship for Mabel Lamberson
Thank you for sponsoring Mabel.

Mabel is my 1st cousin once removed and my father's (Kenneth Lyle Mullen) first cousin. Mabel's mother, Clara Baldwin St. John is my grandaunt, an older sister of my grandmother, Eva Myrtle Baldwin Mullen. Bob is my 2nd cousin.

I visited with Mabel, Lyle and Bob many times, either at my grandmother's home (across from my home) in Goshen, 3 1/2 miles southeast of Shelley, Idaho, or at their home on the corner of St. John's Road and the Shelley - New Sweden Road. Mabel had a debilitating stroke several years before she died which paralyzed one side of her face and slurred her speech. She gamely went on but eventually died as a result of the stroke or had another one.

I remember Bob Lamberson because of his singing ability and the singing activities he did in the Shelley/Idaho Falls area. I met his wife, Betty, and their two children, Debbie and Timmy. I went to college in the Fall of 1968, and after his divorce, I knew he had left to go to Oregon to go to college. Since then I never met Bob or knew if he'd come back to the Shelley/Idaho Falls area for visits.

I was checking the SSAN Death Index late last year and became aware of his death, but knew no other details of his life since he arrived in Oregon until now. Thanks for adding his Find A Grave biography entry and the pictures. His younger pictures are what I remember of what he looked like.
