Lucas family in Maitland Brethren Cemetery
You are most welcome for the pictures! I am in the process of seeing to it that all the graves in the Maitland Brethren Cemetery are registered with findagrave. If I come cross Daniel Lucas, I will surely enter him in the database.
I am happy to help!

Are you related to them? Would you like to manage these memorials? I am not related. Just put "Please transfer" in the edit Suggestion box and send. I'll have all the info I need and they will be yours!

RE: Lucas Photo taken by Theresa Ely
Hello Lorraine, thank you, it really was just a fluke. I noticed that there wasn't a stone photo and just requested one. You are very welcome. I love being able to get the stone pictures that I need for my tree. I am currently working on The Wickersham Family in America book and try to find stone pictures as I go along. I utilize as I input info from the book and sometimes find more info from F.A.G, like from your family. It looks like from my tree that you and I are 7th cousins 2x removed.
It is so nice to meet you!

Joey :)

RE: Graul Gravestone Photos
You're very welcome, Loraine. I didn't see a photo request for your grandparents when I checked the list, so it may have been done by Jaime Spataro. She may have taken the GPS coordinates while there and submitted them to you in an Edit, as I did on the others. They are very useful for locating the grave using a portable GPS unit or a smart phone/pad. If you click on the link on the Find A Grave memorial, it should take you to Google maps. Once there, click on the Satellite block in the lower left and then you can zoom in to see the actual grave site, or at least near to it. I really like this feature. I honestly wasn't very impressed with the photo, but I prefer to do correction to tilt, zoom and exposure before posting a photo, as you have seen. I don't understand why people don't take just a little more time to do a good photo. If you'd like me to take a photo, just let me know. I take photos of markers in the area of the requested photo if the names are the same, and then post them or create memorials if needed. Seems like a common sense thing to do, but that's not always the case. Take good care.

You're welcome Loraine. Glad to help. I also just added the photos of the obverse side of the monument which has Ida, Rebecca L., Norman H. and John. I submitted the GPS coordinates as edits to you - they are in the EDITS tab on your Contributor Tools page. Take good care.

Someone sent me the info from the Lewistown Democrat. I do not have a copy. Yes, he's listed in Potter's Field which means he does not have a marker. I have been photographing all of Mifflin County's cemeteries and if there is no photo on a memorial, then there wasn't a marker. You may want to contact the Historical Society (717) 242-1022. I don't know their hours or days but they may be able to help some. I'm not related to any one in Mifflin County so I can't help much.

Margaret Elvin's sister
By chance do you have any information regarding Margaret Quin(n) sister Mary Ann?

My great grandmother, Ellen Quinn Walker was sister to Margaret Quin(n) Elvin.

I know they had sister named Mary Ann Quin(n) ______ (I don't know last name.) I believe she lived somewhat near to Margaret

These women had at lest two brothers,James and Andrew.
