The Sevier-Hibberd cemetery is located at Goose Rock, just off hwy 421/80. It is on a bluff overlooking Goose Creek, behind the Mennonite nursery and farm. You have to go through private property, a ranch style brick house. It is extremely overgrown with briars and vines. In making a video documentary last winter we cut or trampled down much of the vines and made most of the tombstones accessible, but it is still in terrible shape. It is a very historic cemetery. There was an article about it in the last issue of the Clay County Ancestral News, a publication of the Clay County Historical Society.
