Hi There,

I live in Lower Hutt, New Zealand and have been a keen genealogist for about 15 years now and get a lot of pleasure in helping others as well as digging round for information on my own trees.

Please feel free to contact me if you'd like memorials transferred or find corrections for memorials I've created.

Have a Great Day & Happy Hunting :-)
Tracy

RE: Cunningham, Highfield, Caton & Barnard
Hi Tracy

Thanks for the photos - can't wait to work them this end !!

I have nearly finished the descendants of Harry CUNNINGHAM and his wife Amelia (-Webb). So you will have a well deserved break until I come across another line that is concentrated in your area.

Once again, thanks for EVERYTHING - especially for the pics that proved to be a "Challenge".

Hoping that you have an awesome week.
Kind regards
Rob.

Hi Tracy
Thank you so much for the recent batch of transfers, headstone pics and added information that you have given me.
Your dedication to my Family's Beloved is greatly appreciated by us all. We sooo totally didn't expect the loving care you gave to Edward and Mary ELLIOTT in the effort you went to to fulfil a photo request.
Thank you.

RE: Thanks For Advising on Duplicate
SAC stands for "Suggest any correction"...it's the email edits you got from me through Findagrave. Do you read the Forums? I have learned a lot since I began reading them.
As far as the spreadsheets go, it depends on how many names I have to add from any particular cemetery. It is nice that it gives me a record to work off of if I have a lot in one cemetery.
I've tried the Beta photo uploader...at first I was adding photos and transcribing them, which is how it's supposed to work. I'm finding that for me (since I plan to transcribe them myself), I prefer making the memorials, then uploading the photos via the Beta loader. Then when I begin to transcribe, the available names pop up and all I have to do is accept a name. It's much faster than uploading a photo to each memorial, one at a time. If you use it, though, I've found that if I tried to drag and drop a bunch of photos at once, it wasn't any faster than one at a time, and almost always one wouldn't upload, even if it said it did. So drag and drop one at a time.

RE: Thanks For Advising on Duplicate
Hi Tracy, Always glad to help out someone who appreciates accuracy! I was on a cruise around New Zealand in November...loved the scenery in your country, and the friendly people. Didn't have enough time in port to visit any cemeteries, but I did take photos in Australia. I was fascinated by the differences in what is put on stones (at least on older ones) compared to in the U.S. I'm sending you a couple of other SACs. Have a wonderful week!

RE: Transfer request
Thanks for the transfer, Tracy and the explanation in regards to Taita Lawn.
The only files I have had for the Old Section (so far) have been pre 1986 deaths and therefore not amongst the "new". The last time I visited was back in the 70s so I guess things may have changed a tad.
Please let me know either via message or private email when you have the Johnsonville Memorials completed so I can do a name check.
Hope that you have a FANTASTIC day.
Regards, Rob

Cemetery Merge ?
Hi Tracy

Do you, or any of your Followers know about a merge that has happened in the last 30mins between Taita Cemetery (Old) and Taita Lawn ?
All memorials have been transferred over to Lawn. The Council still has separate web search sites :/

Regards, Rob
