I'm sorry that in my clumsiness, I left the same message twice!

RE: Milford and Rebecca Gines
Yes, I think I do know. Rebecca Maner (1844-1931) and Milford Gines (1849-1930),
had the following children to the best of my knowledge and research:
Ellen 1875
Danny 1878
Dorsey 1878
Austin 1883
These, I believe, are the correct dates of birth; however, I'm not clear as to whether Danny and Dorsey were twins, or if I have one of their birth dates incorrect. I have seen a Mary Gines identified as one of Rebecca and Milford's children, but I'm not comfortable saying that she was. Her birth date is given as 1902; Rebecca would have been 58 years old at that point. Rebecca and Milford were both from Tensas Parish. Just to make things a little more confusing, there is a Milford Gines, who was born in 1881, and died in 1954. He was not one of Rebecca and Milford's children. Instead, he seems to have been the son of Benjamin Gines (born 1859) and Julia Turner (born 1860). Benjamin may have been a cousin to the senior Milford. Benjamin and Julia were also from Tensas Parish. If you have some more or different information. I would love to know about it.Yes, I think I do know.
