Hi Joanne, Could you do me a favor and look at the picture I have posted on our great grandpa's memorial page and let me know if you know who any of them are. I wasn't sure who the tall man was in the back and then who the man beside our great grandma, Jennie, was. If you know can you let me know?? It's driving me nuts (haha) when we have these pictures but you don't have names on them!! Thank you!!! ~Laura

I was excited too when finding the amount of people's graves. One was Charles Adams who died at 6 months old. My Dad never knew about him. He was a brother to your grandpa & my grandma.
As far as arriving in America, it was a Thomas Ignatius Adams (1735-1776). Find a grave says Ireland but on ancestry.com it had England where he came from. I'm going with England though. Their was a document he signed on April 23, 1750, so he was in the Conewago area at that time.
William Adams (1863-1930) parents were John & Catherine Althoff Adams. John Adams (1833-1900) parents were Thomas & Mary Adams. Thomas Adams ((1797-1879) parents were Ignatius & Maria Anna Hoffman Adams. Ignatius Adams (1766-1853) parents were Thomas Ignatius Adams & Magdalene Adams. Thomas died in 1776 at the age of 41, his wife Magdalene lived to be 104 years old!! That's as far back as I got on find a grave. It's been fun researching everyone that I could find!! Hope to hear from you again!! I called my parents & they said your parents & you should stop by & visit some time. They still live where they used to. Take Care! Laura

Hello to you too!!!! My grandma was Hilda Adams Kessler (then remarried after my grandpa died) Crawford. Hilda was William & Jennie Adams 9th child & your grandpa was their 7th child. I'm so glad to "meet" you!!! I'm sort of obsessed with learning about my ancestors! My dad is Bob Kessler. Your parent (child of grandpa Joe) may know him!?!? Are you in the Hanover area? We live close to McSherystown but have a Hanover address. Take care & if you want any ancestor info just let me know! Have a great day!! Laura Kessler Hershey.
