Elisha Varble
Hi, Leslie,
My name is Lois Ams and I see that you have corresponded with Terri Stockstill who is my 1st cousin 1 time removed. She sent me pictures that I believe you had sent her of George and Eliza Varble Sturmon family. I am sure the pictures go along with the Birth page but how? We may never truly know but hopefully we will find out.
My grandfather married two Varbles: lst Harriet and then Luticia. They were the daughters of James Varble, a brother of Eliza Varble and a son of Elisha Varble.
I sent Terri an email with Elisha's parents so I hope she has sent that on to you.
By the way, my grandfather's 3rd wife was Eliza Jane Anderson whose grandmother was Malinda Varble who would be a cousin to James and Eliza, The Varbles and Andersons (and there were several of them) migrated to Greene Co., Illinois in the 1830=1840 period from Oldham Co., KY.just east of the Louisville, KY area.

Thank you for the info about this missing grave. You said that there were other Mallinckrodt graves- did you happen to see one for Johanna Augusta Koch Mallinckrodt (which is the name in my family tree, not Auguste.) Thank you for any info.

photo of Virginia Schnaath's stone
Hi Leslie: Thank you for the photo of her headstone. It was so kind of you to take it and I live out in the Fenton area so it was much appreciated. I knew her from our church and she and I were friends.
When I looked at her headstone----I realized that her husband did not have a memorial page so I created one for him as well.
Here is a favor I would ask: Do you have the ability to also download the same photo to his new site? His memorial number is 115250899. I have linked them together.
Thanks again so very much. Barbara
