My best suggestion would be leave flowers with a message. Such as I am a family member and would like to contact other family members. They can then click on your flower message name and leave a message here. Good luck Tom

RE: how?
I'm not sure I understand your question. I chose a cemetery, go to a section in that cemetery, take photographs starting in one corner and go down a row and then do the next row. I do that for one or two hours, go home, figure out what the headstone says, create the memorial page you see and post the names and dates and the photo. Sometimes I check with the census, SSDI and marriage records so I can add more to the memorial. I can get enough info from current or old obits to make a memorial, too. Whenever someone dies they leave a record some place. Connect that record to a cemetery and that's how you make a memorial page on Find a Grave. Nobody submits anything to me. I don't know about your partner, but there is a search button at the top left of this page. If your partner isn't there, feel free to add to Find a Grave. You don't need a photo and you can add your own bio to the page if you want.
