|Reverend Larry||RE: Snohomish County|
After we get all of the headstones onto Find a Grave for Snohomish County. There will still be dozens of man (and woman) years of things to do such as: Finding unmarked graves. Responding to Photo Requests and updating each cemetery. I have done Darrington and Arlington early this year. Took me a month and a half to find all of the new headstones and that was only after two years since I did the entire cemetery. The Arlington Office gave me a list, thank God. Marysville is also helping and I will probably be spending a month on it to bring it current. It is estimated that we may have 10,000 unmarked graves in the county.
|Reverend Larry||RE: Edits|
Find a Grave has shortened the "Edit" process. Now the sender can make the change, the manager still gets to see the edit/change before they approve it. In stead of a 100 e-mails a week, I get 100 "Edits/Changes" per week. Much better. Our memorials are attracting people looking at them and adding additional information and or corrections.
I think it is great!
I will be at Evergreen tomorrow. I'm out of pictures to upload. Working on Blocks 73 and 23.
Evergreen has been 100% assigned.
|LWB516||RE: Robbins in Marysville cemetery|
Thank you for doing the pictures. Martha J. (Garriott) Robbins is my 2nd cousin 2X removed. She married William L. in Kansas and moved to Washington. All I know about the Robbins is Richard and Jane are William's parents and John M. is a brother. Please add your pictures as the ones on F A G now have the GPS marks in front of the stone making it hard to read.Once again thank you.

Way to go. I'm fine and on Thursday I took 296 in Blocks 25 and 52 at Evergreen. Did you get my email. We as a group are doing as well as the Seahawks. Yahhhh! If we all can do a big push here this summer, we will have Snohomish County done. Yahhh!
I'm having a party. Want to come? I have one that wants to come, but Sept 20th will not work. How about you? Sept 13? Sept 27th?
|Don Green||George Evans|
Ah ha ! Year of death, 1968, was transposed on Memorial to 1986. Mystery solved !
|Don Green||George Evans 1881 - 1986|
Hi again Trish,
There were 8 "George Evans" buried at Inglewood after 1974. None were close to your dates and none were in the plot Gertrude was buried in. Also, CA Death Records did not list a "George Evans" with those dates. If he lived to 105 yrs and died out of CA, guessing he may be buried there as well.
|Don Green||RE: Gertrude Evans|
Always happy to transfer a great grandmother. So much easier on recipient if you use the "Edit" tab on Memorial, then "Suggest any other ....." to request a transfer. All info available. Take care of Gertrude !
|Reverend Larry||Plan on taking some Pics|
I am going to the Marysville Cemeteries tomorrow. I plan on taking pictures of anything new in Sections B and C. If the weather is nice, I might go to GAR and do the same thing there on New Internments.
You have been busy
Hope to catch up. LOL
I feel I lost 2.5 months because of the slide.
|Tami||Evergreen - Block 17|
I have been working on Block 17 also, and have uncovered about 25 markers that were covered over and buried about 6-8 inches down. Did the office give you a lot number for the Van Duren grave in Block 17? I have been checking the lot books for all of those empty spaces in the west part of block 17, and we may be able to find an exact burial location this way. Let me know if you would like to work on block 17 or if you have a lot number for Van Duren.
Yay! Lots of sun lately! Can't wait til school is out...

Many thanks for your attempt in trying to find a headstone for James. I will request a note be put on his memorial making note of this.
