Bio Photo My sister and I took a genealogy course in January. We are hooked! Working on our tree. It is SO interesting. Findagrave has helped in so many ways, so I couldn't help but to volunteer to photo graves for pleasure.

RE: Maria Fordyce FAG request
Yes, I've already done what you suggested. There are 20 Fordyce's in that cemetery. I most likely worded it wrong, and said that if you happen to find anymore, please let me know.

We live in Texas, so don't know if or when we'll get back up your way, but will keep you in mind if we ever do.

RE: Maria Fordyce FAG request
OK, thanks Sally. We were in PA. back in 2009 and tried to find Whiteley Cemetery but failed on that task. My great grandparents are buried in Garards Fort Cemetery and while we were in the area, we asked a several people where the cemetery was located and the ones we asked, didn't know. I don't have any Hartley's, or Headlee's buried in the Whiteley (at least I don't know of any) but I do have some of my Fordyce family buried there. If you happen to run across any of them, please let me know.

By the way, I still haven't heard a word from F.A.G. that you fulfilled my request. Thank kind of burns me!!!

Thanks again for all you have done and the info you provided.

RE: Maria Fordyce FAG request
Hi Sally -

Thanks for writing. At this point, I still don't have a notice from F.A.G. that you filled my request. Why, I don't know.

To answer your question, I' not sure if it's Maria either. I feel that it is her so I'd leave it as is. Her Husband, Benson Fordyce married twice and they are buried together in Iowa.

Also, I have a photo request in for Joseph Baily Fordyce (Infant). Since you and your husband have photographed the whole cemetery, can I assume (hate that word) there is not stone, If so, I think I should remove my request. I'll wait till I hear back from you on this request.

Many thanks for fulfilling my request. I really appreciate you doing that for me.

Best regards,

RE: Genevieve Baird
Sorry Baby doesn't have a marker, but her grave can be pinpointed by number...see caption of picture I posted.

RE: McGeehans
Sorry for the delay in responding. I just haven't checked the site for a couple of months... Absolutely, you may use the photos for your family tree.

Have a home in WNY, and our family is fond of Bradford. I personally love the snow as long as I don't have to be on a schedule, but last year our snowman didn't melt until May ~ :)

RE: Irene Baird
Genevieve Baird is in a different area from Irene...for babies...and I think she does have a marker altho' the historic part of Fairview has suffered a lot of vandalism through the years. I meant to check while I was there, but forgot after looking for Duane and Evalyn Baird. I'll just find out for sure in a few days ~ :^). Richard is on the new side of the cemetery and should be no problem at all to locate.

George & Christenia Moninger
Thank you so much. I didn't think that you would find them. As far as I can see there are no inscriptions reading: daughter of Workman Hughes and George O. Moninger, son of John and Mary Magdaline Moninger. The information on Christenia "Fanny" Hughes Gantz Moninger appears consistent with other records, but not correct on George. George was the grandson of John and Mary Magdaline Moninger; he was the son of George and Elizabeth Shuster Moninger. Also, I have never seen the middle initial O. Do you remember? THx again worked on it for a long time. Margo
