Hello! I am a DAR sister and I am the chair for my chapter's Service for Veterans committee and the Historic Preservation committee. As a service to our veteran's, I am working on cleaning their memorials when I find them. Right now, I am working through Normal Hill Cemetery in Lewiston, ID. With 70,000 graves there, I will be busy for a while! If you would like me to clean your family member's memorial, let me know. I love the treasure hunt here! I am happy to provide any transfer requests because I love creating the memorials and taking pictures to help people out. I would like to keep my own family memorials.|

Dear Karen, I thought I had previously answered your message but just in case I did not answer it... It would be absolutely wonderful if the trees were trimmed back and a photo taken of the grave marker so it could be put on Find A Grave. Cutting the branches back may help slow the deterioration of the stone. Thank you so much for caring about Adelbert "Del" Storm and his wife's final resting place. You have permission and appreciation for the work. Thank you very much.

I just wanted to say thank you so very much!!!! Your work is so appreciated. I just recently filled so many holes in my heritage and because of your generosity with your time and effort, I now have pictures to go with my ancestors profiles. Thank you so much for all you're doing.
The Dickinson family is deeply appreciative of your support, thank you. OZARKCHERYL

When you have time, I would like a distant shot of the area of David and Kathryn's monument, which I'll add to his bio setting section. Thank you so much for your work. I plan on visiting him and beautiful Idaho this spring/summer.

Her mother is Mable Lucille Adams, but she is missing in action! David and 2nd wife Kathryn share a monument that also lists Stacy Jean, the mystery child.

Any idea who Stacy Jean's father was? David Richard Gill died in 1963, before she was born.

Here is a very cool website. This guy has done a ton of work on monument symbols. and he is very willing to help others with their search.

I am his niece and am writing his bio for the Welsh Immigrants website and the 52 Ancestors blog. I would like to use your photo of his monument in the document. I will show you as photo credit. Also, do you know the meaning of the cross with flower and leaves on the upper right of the monument. The other symbols are Eastern Star and Mason, but I haven't found info on the cross. Thanks so much for your time and good work.

I will transfer the memorial to you Karen. Glad you found him and thank you for the sponsorship. This is one of the very reasons I do what I do, allowing family members to find their loved ones. You've accomplished great things in a short period of time, keep up the good work. "Each Day Counts", Loretta

Transfers completed. Take good care of them! I worked hard on finding them and luckily having their headstone photos taken.
