My mom just said her Aunt Vera was her fathers sister. Also from Indiana. This is pretty cool.

I thought I would add my mom just told me they used to call Wesley, Jr. and a nick name. She said he helped her buy and car once. Tina

Hi, Reva was my moms aunt. Her husband was Ernest. See if that is what you have just to make sure. Thanks Tina

Well, I was going to say... it's the kind you bury people in... but I'm sure that's not what you meant and don't want to sound snippy. It's my warped sense of humor showing ~

Like I mentioned -- K of P and IOOF were benevolent organizations that would establish cemeteries for their brethren and/or take over the caretaking responsibilities for cemeteries that were being neglected etc. In this case, I thinks it's a combination of the two.

Hope this helps too ~

I'm sorry, but I don't understand your question: "What kind of cemetery is this?"

Here is a link to the Madison County Cemetery Commission which may be able to give you the information you are looking for: http://www.cemeteries-madison-co-in.com/

Here's is the link to the Knights of Pythias: http://www.kophistory.com/in/index.htm (Frankton Lodge is in District IV)

Here's a link to the IOOF: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Independent_Order_of_Odd_Fellows

Basically these two organizations were of a benevolent nature.

Hope all this helps.

Diane

Rev. Casey
Hello! Thank you for the additional information on Rev. Casey. He was married to my grandfather, Hubert B. Laws' sister, Oma or Ommie. If you have more info on the Laws family I would love to learn more. Joanne

Thank you so much for taking the photo. I work with his granddaughter and I am trying to teach my coworkers the value of findagrave and keeping loved ones memories alive.
