|Eliza||William and Susie Rowles|
Thank you for the photo of William and Susie Rowles. For the past 15 yrs, while researching my family history, I have been trying to find out what happened to Susie, who is my mother's great aunt. I could not find death records for her or William. I was so happy to find your photo tonight! Mom remembers her well from when she was a child living in Rochester before moving to San Diego, CA in 1953. Mom's still around, she's 90, and I just showed her your photo of the headstone. She was thrilled! She, again, started reminiescing and telling me the same old stories I've heard over and over again during my lifetime! But I still like to hear them.
Again, thank you and would it be okay if I copied your photo to use in my family tree?

Hi, Carl, who has been putting up all the new gravestones in Sunnyside Cemetery? I was last there from my home in Michigan in 2003 and an awful lot of stones were unreadable. I'm blown away.
Thanks for all your work.

|Ed Whiteman||Re Clarence E Bruck|
Hello Carl. Clarence (memorial 139018360) was my grand father. He was born 11 Feb 1902. Social Security has his death as Jan 1955,which matches our family records for him. His 1st wife (my grand mother), was Ruth Landis Brewer (1901-1990). Family records show that he remarried to a Harriet M. Federal censuses show Harriet's DOB as being about 1907. He started his career as a department store display manager in Columbus Ohio. Rochester city censuses show that he was a display manager there as well, with Harriet being a sales person. Clarence's only child was my mother, Jean Levonne Brewer Bruck (1921-2000). My mother was on good terms and in contact with Harriet for several years after Clarence's death. Clarence had one sister, Esther L. Bruck Heighberger ( 1900-1978, memorial 124087289). Clarence and Esther's parents were Charles E. Bruck (1873-1910) and Dora Hopkins (1874-abt 1960). Sincerely, Ed Whiteman.
|David W Acker||Andrew M Acker # 136998564|
My name is David Acker and I've just come across this site while searching for information on my grandparents. Andrew M Acker was my paternal great grandfather and he is buried at Mount Hope. His son Alfred, my grandfather and my grandmother Irene are also buried at Mount Hope. Would it be possible to transfer Andrew's memorial to me? There are not many of the Acker family left and I'm trying to put things together for my sons to be able to follow. Thank you for your kind efforts.
