If you study the history of the 33rd Alabama, you may wonder why a member of that unit was near Knoxville at the time of his death. Like you, I have not been able to find his military history. There are four other Hattons listed on rosters of the 33rd but no B.F. The BF Jackson died in 1864 while the unit was engaged in the Atlanta campaign. Hatton is among a list of men buried at Bethel Cemetery Knoxville. You can view the list at the Mabry-Hazen House website. I wish I could be of some help. Please let me know if you have any luck, Hutch.

Dear Ms. Barbara Murdock Fulsom, Thank you so very much for noticing that I had not connected my Grandmother Jenny with her Father. I have done so and if you locate Grandmother's Mother I would love to connect her as well. Thank you so very much. Have a Wonderful Day!
Dear Ms Barbara, please send me an email in which I may communicate with you in private.
