Bio Photo Call me quirky, but i have always loved cemeteries. When a friend told me about this site, I nearly FLIPPED. My first search i found 3 requests ALL within 5 miles from me (and i live OUT in the country). Since then I have branched out to cemeteries near people I visit or places i go. I have learned much about dealing with cemetery superintendents and church administration. I have also learned that you might need some tools like a trowel (to edge around a headstone that grass has grown over top of), a whisk broom to sweep off a flat headstone, and a bouquet of flowers from a craft store that i can put on the grave of a loved one to make it a more pleasant shot., too name a few. I really enjoy this whole grave hunting and plan for it to be a hobby of mine for a long, long time.

RE: Shallow Ford Christian Church Cemetery

Thank you so much for the photo of Ida Jane Redding Gerringer. I hope you might be able to help us with other photos in the future. We live in Virginia, and have a lot of family members buried in the North Carolina Area. We try to come down when we can, but my husband has a lot of medical issues that keeps us from trying to get photos of our loved ones. I love your bio! Are you close to any other cemeteries? Hope to hear from you soon, and welcome to Find A Grave!!

RE: Allred at Friedens Church in Gibsonville, NC
There is a Find A Grave memorial that says Allred and says no name on stone, I was wanting to know if it just said Allred or if the name just could not be made out. I am actually looking for a Polly Allred.
