I love genealogy and have dabbled in it off and on for years. I have done quite a lot lately and Findagrave has really helped with that. |
I recently joined the Daughters of the American Revolution and will be checking into the Daughters of Utah Pioneers since two lines of my family were Utah pioneers. I have a grandmother who was a Rosie the Riveter. So this has added many other interesting things to what I am doing. Names I am researching are Kay, Rogers, Imel, Linn, Jarvis, Fisher, Huston, Lehto etc.
If I have added a memorial that belongs to your family (and is not my family) ask and I will gladly transfer it to you. Jeanne

No worries Jeanne. Good luck in your search. I see that Miles and his son died in a boating accident in Lake Winnipeg. Do you have the obits or accident article from the paper? I saw the following: Miles Jarvis married Edith Dandy February 12, 1890 in Deloraine. In the 1906 census, besides Herbert they had a daughter Kathleen age 15.

Hi Jeanne, you requested a pic for Miles at memorial 129751350. I noticed there already is a pic. Did you want something else (check for other side of marker etc?). Let me know and I'll stop by and check. If not, could I request you cancel your pic request? Thx in advance, Jim
You would need to contact the cemetery sexton/office to get this info. Good luck!

Today I will post a photo for Edward Donnellan. On the same stone are inscriptions for the following Flynn's:
Rosa d.1941, Connor d.1925, Nita d.1972 and Eileen d.2001. Also nearby is a stone for James d.1913 and Julia Ann d.1934 Donnellan. If you create memorials for these I will post the photos. If they are not your family, I will add them later.

You are so welcome Jeanne! I've been running across many without gravestones, but feel it is important to document where the person is resting. Happy day, Jhere

Hi Jeanne how very kind of you. Unfortunately George is not a relative of mine, I was working on my family genealogy and saw an opportunity to add to George's memorial. Maybe one day one of Georges relatives will find it and benefit from our efforts. Have a nice day. Regards, Manny Hernandez Sr.

Hello Jeanne, are the other family members in the same cemetery? If so, I will get a photo of the area and add it to their page. It is always nice to have a headstone, but does not happen all of the time. Just knowing where they are resting is comforting. Happy Day, Jhere

I'm guessing that you might have some personal interest in Constance. So I wanted to let you know that I added a photo to her memorial:
The caption contains a link to her naturalization documents, in case you care to read them.
I have no connection to Constance, I just find things online and pass them on :)

You are so welcome! It is important to have the photograph, and I am always willing to go out and get it! Happy Day, Jhere
