Bio and Links
Bio Photo I recently moved into this area and have been swept away by the History of it. Upon doing research for a project my mother and I have been put on we discovered the Page Jackson Cemetery. When visiting we noticed that it was in an abandoned state. Completely disregarded and disrespected. There are Many downed tombstones, ones that have been beaten by weather and vegitation and, some completely forgotten hidden in over growth and underbrush that is years thick. I have made it my personal mission to get everyone on here good and proper collect and attach accurate information about these forgotten individuals. My big dream is to gather together some of the community to help getting this site to a maintained/ manicured status as well as lifting the fallen markers back up even if its just to support them where they fell upright (I am not certain that a proper plot map is available as of yet so even if they are in a very wrong place one can at least view them since most have fallen ontop the inscribed side). Page Jackson was what they consider the "black" cemetery. It is not but a stones throw away from the well manicured "white" cemetery Lakeview. The Cemetery has tombstones from the 1800's dating to modern day.
