RE: Robert W. Jones
I am not related to Mr. Jones. However, my father is buried in this cemetery, and I have created hundreds of memorial pages, especially for veterans. Feel free to add a photo.

Hi Rene
I believe it is the right headstone, it is hard to make out but it does say Sept 6 1846. If you have any other questions please feel to write me.

RE: Lela Jones
I don't have much on her except what was in her obituary in a local paper and I put some of that with the memorial. If you want to read the obituary it can be found at http://thetimestribune.com/obituaries_archive_url/x878597392/Lela-Jones

RE: Thanks for the photo...
Yes, please. It would be very interesting to get more information about the other children, and photos if possible. I only know of one child, Anna. Maybe she was the only one to survive into adult age. My email is christer.bengtsson@gmail.com

Thanks for the photo...
Thanks for the photo of the grave of Maria and August Nelson.
I was contacted by a man living in Texas who had found an old family bible after a relative had died. The bible didn't belong to his family so with the help of the names written in the bible he found my family tree on Ancestry. It's original owner was my great great great grandfather who lived in 1816-1879. Now - the bible has been sent over to me in Sweden. Maria and August knew each other as kids in Sweden. August's family emigrated in 1883 and Maria emigrated on her own in 1900 to marry August. They brought the bible over to Texas when visiting Maria's mother in Sweden in 1923. So the photo of their grave was a great addition to the story of the bible.
Thanks again
