Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've always been interested in the family history, sitting by my g-gma's chair, or asking my gma & gpa about their families. We've had ones who died as young adults making information slim to none, but working to fill in the missing info is fun.

I'm researching the following names: Buckner (Bear Lake, MI), Blacklock (Elberta, MI), Pardue, Ball, Elkins, Sanders (Logan and Boone Cos, WV), and Nichols, Moore (Lawrence Co, OH), Lynn, Adams, and Bach (Mt. Pleasant area, PA).

Sharing info is a good thing.

Squire/Vesta Bliss
Thank you for the headstone photo for Squire/Vesta Bliss on Vesta's memorial 54555444. Could you upload it to Squire's memorial 54555443? Thank you.

RE: #54555534
Thanks for removing the extra photo of him alone from her memorial #54555533. The new one is great...I usually ask for "2 photos...one up close to read...and a full stone view for beauty" when I put in a request.

I KNOW how difficult it is to be the photographer and the data entry clerk. I'm sorry I ruffled your feathers.

When I get help from one of my daughters, we do an entire cemetery from start to finish...every stone - then I sort out the ones already with a photo & those that don't even have a memorial YET. You know the rest - there's resizing and cropping and posting them in the proper order, (oh, and starting a new memorial where needed).

Again two words - Sorry and Thanks for the "beauty" shot.

Please delete the close up photo of the wife. This is HIS memorial not hers. Thanks.

RE: Viola Pirvu
Sounds good. She had a PO Box in BL, That is where we would send her cards and such. I will try to remember who the attorney is who settled her estate. If I can remember, I will certainly let you know. Thank you. She was such a sweet lady. Have a great weekend.

RE: Viola Pirvu
I actually don't know any family members. I know that she never had any children, and her brother John passed away years ago, along with her mother. I know she has some cousins out-of-state, but I don't have any information on them. Did you buy her house on 13 Mile in BL? Or are you getting her mail for her in her old PO Box? I have talked to her attorney, back in 2008 when she passed away. He is in Manistee. But I cannot recall his name. My only recommendation is, is to give it to the post office. If I find any other information I will let you know. Have a great day.

Hi there, I got your message about the Pirvu family. What info are you looking for? I was a friend of Viola's. (From Bear Lake, MI)

RE: Neva Gilbert-Blacklock
We spend summers in Onekama-still using the house Neva's parents built in 1890. I love the area and the roads are perfect for wandering!

RE: Neva Blacklock
Applause, applause, applause for finding another link to her. I have never seen her name spelled Genevive or other phonetic spelling of that name (she is Geneva) as it is in the marriage record but the divorce record has her as Neva B. so I will assume that is her as the dates line up. What is interesting is that her grave is marked as "Mother Neva". Her kids were probably too confused as to which last name to use. It's also interesting that she buried William Blacklock with her first husband Arthur Gilbert in the Gilbert family plot. Perhaps because. William and Arthur both have "father" on their markers and one of the sons died young and was buried there (Raleigh or Rollie Gilbert). Thank you for this info. I am really hoping to meet family in the area that remember Neva.
