RE: Glenwood/Pittenturf/Hollebaugh
Anne,
I went to J24 again this morning. I found one large Hollebaugh stone with several names on it. It was right next to a large cedar, and almost completely covered by its branches. I was able to ask a cemetery worker nearby to hold back the branches so I could get a photo of the front of the stone. So I can send that to you. Otherwise I also took a photo of the "mother" stone, which is in three pieces. I did not find any stones for the Abbot family.

Dear Anne,
Thanks. I'm heading over to Glenwood shortly and will photograph those other gravestones in J24. In the meantime, again I'd suggest that you remove the request for a photo of Daniel Pittenturf's grave since the photo has already been posted on his memorial. If not, others responding to your request may go to the gravesite and photograph it, only to learn afterwards that it was already taken care of. Thanks!

RE: Daniel Pittenturf
Dear Anne, nice to have you back!
Well, I could post the photograph I took of the double headstone on Daniel Pittenturf's memorial, but it would be no different from the one that is already there. That's why I was wondering if you wanted the request for a photo to remain active.
As for Section J24, I will probably be in the cemetery office tomorrow morning. I should be able to access the books that show precisely who is buried in each section of the cemetery. This would show who is in the section, whether they have a headstone or not. Otherwise it's hard to know where J24 stops and another section begins out there in the cemetery. Best!

RE: Daniel Pittenturf
Good morning,Anne! I'm heading over to Glenwood again this morning to respond to a couple of new requests for photos. I noticed your request for a photo of Daniel Pittenturf's grave is still there; I'm wondering if you'd prefer to remove it, or I could respond to it and explain there was nothing more to photograph since the double headstone was in J24. Thanks...and keep cool in this hot weather!

RE: Daniel Pittenturf
Dear Anne,
I just got back from the cemetery; I left before I saw your message. When I checked the card catalog of burials in the cemetery office, I found a card for Henrietta but not for Daniel. Her grave is in Section J, Lot 24, site 9. I went to the site and found the stone that is already posted on the site, with both their names. So that's what I found...sorry I couldn't do more!

Hi I was going to search for this grave as you requested, but then noticed that a picture of the grave is already posted on the memorial. Did you need more information?
