|Well I have a year and a half under my belt now and I'm feeling more comfortable. Thanks to all of you who have helped me along the way. I've been doing genealogy since before there were personal computers when we did everything by searching public records and micro fish. I am so thrilled to have found so many of my family out here on this site. Thank you to ALL the many contributors.|

She was born in Cedar Bluff, Kansas. Probably in 1890. According to my Mother, Nina talked about her and that she did not live long.
Elizabeth (Unknown) Vreeke #25881366 whose death was August 1901 and buried 30 August 1901 in Riverside Cemetery, Kalamazoo....
Apparently this couple had two children that they named Elizabeth.
Death certificate was added to the infant Elizabeth

Thankyou for you notes, I have made the corrections. Gideon and Rosetta had a total of 14 children and my connection is thru their oldest Nina Pearl Cobbs. Nina was my Great Grandmother. I"m sorry that I cannot confirm any information about Leatha. Cecil and Erwin were two of the 14 children neither lived for very long, Cecil for only 4 days. Contact me anytime, Steve

Not sure why the edits didn't happen automatically. I went ahead and put them in manually. It is really nice to see additional information posted! I am only posting what I can get from the tombstone and cemetery records and leaving it up to the relatives/friends to fill in the details.

I looked at the death certificate once again. To me it appears to show County of Clay, Township of Gallatin and City of North Kansas City.

Census info plus death info from Oregon. According to a 1870 Kentucky census
Ann E Morton F 45 Kentucky
Anna K Morton F 19 Missouri
David Y Morton M 15 Missouri
Winthrop H Morton M 8 Kentucky
Mary L Morton F 6 Kentucky
Yancey J Morton M 4 Kentucky
There's a Winthrop Morton #51615598 buried at Elmwood Cemetery in Kansas City Missouri who has no DOB listed but a DOD of 1888. Might be his brother as shown on census.
