Gilman Plot
Hi Jill,
I went by the town office and got to see the cemetery record for Charles Gilman's plot. You are correct that it is next to Joseph Eggleston's plot. It is the north half of Lot 114 in Section I.
Unfortunately all the graves were just marked "occupied" without their names.

Gilman Plot
Hi Jill,
Please give me what information you have about the Gillman Plot and I will see what I can do.

Eglestons in Restvale
Jill,
I went by the town office and they looked at their records for Restvale Cemetery. No Laura Egleston was found, though there were three plots with unnamed Eglestons belonging to Joseph (Lot 114), Frank (Lot 41), and Leonard (Lot 124) all in Section I.
I went carefully through Section I as well as adjoining parts of other Sections and found no trace of any Eglestons. Either they didn't have stones or they are no longer legible.
Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance.

Laura Egleston
Hi Jill,
Do you know for sure that Laura Egleston was buried in Restvale? Or is that an assumption based on her residence in Seneca Falls in 1870?
I checked through some local obituaries from the 1870's yesterday, but have not yet located hers.
Thanks,
Tony D.

RE: PHOTO OF SARAH A. GILMAN'S GRAVE
Dear Jill,
You are truly welcome. It is plain but the rose is a beautiful color to
see and it stands out. I was outside yesterday without jacket as it
was in the 50s and sunny. But now we are having a blizzard; worst
that will have this winter. Could be 15 inches of snow. I took a lot
of requests in the past several days in anticipation of this
All the Best,
Paul

RE: LEONARD EGGLESTON
Hi, When I travel to Michigan (about twice a year) I pass the cemetery and will make a note to stop by and search for his grave and take a picture. It is a big cemetery and I take a few pictures every time I pass by. Good luck with your family search. If you need anyone searched for in Lenawee and Hillsdale county Michigan let me know and I will try to help when in Michigan. RLE

RE: GRAVESTONE FOR SARAH A GILMAN
Jill,
No, I doubt if this is the correct Sarah Gilman, because the location is way off. I don't yet see a Sarah Gilman on Find A Grave that would be a good match. Try some of the Seneca County, New York online resources such as the NYGenWeb for Seneca County.
