Terry, Thank you so much for the picture and description of headstone location for Emeline. She's my great grand aunt and if I'm ever in NY now I'll be able to visit her. She was the first child in this family line born in America.
Thank you so much for your time and taking a photo for me. I really appreciate it :)

Hi Terry, Can't remember if I responded to you on this or not... I have a photo of the stone you are referring to in New York, but I see this one in West Virginia.
Donald W. Pixley
Birth: Jan. 20, 1924
New York, USA
Death: Jul. 5, 1986
West Virginia, USA
Son of Gordon McKInley and Alice (Shaw) Pixley.
So I was wondering if the headstone was 'placed' with the intention of him being buried there, but he was buried in West Virginia instead. Is there some way to contact to person/city to find out if he was actually buried in New York - there must be some kind of record somewhere? Curious huh?
Thanks for any help,

Hi Terry, Are you able to easily question the sexton of Maple Grove Cemetery regarding the burial of Donald W. Pixley 1924 - 1986? He has a memorial that claims he was buried in Spencer Memorial Cemetery; Spencer, Roane, West Virginia where he died. So we don't really know where he is. Can the sexton confirm whether or not he was actually buried in Maple Grove? If this is not something you can/or want to do; can you guide me as to how to do this?

Wow, thank you so much for your quick responds to my request, especially with the freezing, miserable weather we've been having.
I hope you know how much what you do is appreciated by genealogists like myself.
