Both my parents were born in Bath Co, VA, my mothers Grose family having been there for generations, but my father's Marcum and Salmons family having migrated from lower Wayne Co, WV. Three words were passed around in our family of locations over there...Stonecoal, Marrowbone and Bullcreek. I often go over to Kermit, Mingo Co, WV, and do research on cemeteries there, but also have tried to cover all my families burial locations in Virginia.|
I also have a large base of family that live in Baltimore, MD, Eastern Texas, Michigan and Florida.
I started researching in 1991. What got me started was a girl gave me a pedigree chart and I could barely fill in 2 generations back. So I have enjoyed researching and discovering all there is of my family.

Hi Rhoda - Dorsey Johnson memorial has been transferred to Cotton Hill Cemetery.
I do no have an obit for this memorial - if you know the parents you can send an edit. Are you related, would be glad to transfer.
I don't know if we are cousins, I would also like to know.
Thank you & have a great day.

Louise has been moved to the cemetery you created. Thank you, Rhoda. I appreciate your help.

I'm really confused, which is easy to do. Are you saying that Jerry Leslie Dillon is in the Marcum Cemetery in Naugatuck? (now known as the Marcum-Maynard, I think maybe after you were there, not sure) In my research to find if I had Louise in the correct cemetery, it appears Marcum-Spaulding is in Kermit??? It seems the obituary for Louise states she was buried in Marcum at Naugatuck. Surely her husband, Jerry Leslie Dillon wouldn't have been buried in a different cemetery with the name Marcum. Delbarton looks to be about 17 miles from Naugatuck. There is a question about a duplicate I have with somebody on Louise. Since Jerry's Memorial is listed as Delbarton, this person put them there. I maintain the obituary should be correct.

Hi saw your message to someone on your message page.
Do you also Know if the Marcum Cemetery at Naugatuck
contains the graves of Louise Runyon Dillion and Jerry Leslie "Leck" Dillon? Someone has him in the Marcum Cemetery at Delbarton, but his wife's obituary stated she was buried in Marcum at Naugatuck. I would appreciate your help.

Yes, the Pletchers are in another cemetery.
I sent a correction to the person who manages those memorials.
However, the Vanbibbers and Stephensons you added are placed in the correct cemetery. You just had the name as Hutchinson when it should be Vanbibber/Stephenson.
I already created Vanbibber/Stephenson Cemetery and was getting ready to transfer those I recently added.

Thanks for getting back to me. When you said Pletcher, I checked and the Pletchers should have been added to Hutchison Cemetery at Muddlety. He created a new cemetery apparently, but that one is actually Vanbibber/Stephenson Cemetery where you added the ones you did. I will see if Find A Grave can correct the name.
You have memorials added for VanBibbers in Hutchinson Cemetery, Nicholas County, WV. But I have that cemetery known as VanBibber/Stephenson Cemetery.
Was there a sign identifying it as Hutchinson?
If so, can you add that it is also known as VanBibber/Stephenson Cemetery.
