Memorial# 112683228
Memorial# 112683228 is a duplicate of Memorial# 44108683. Will you please consider deleting your memorial ? Mine was created in 2009 & yours was created in 2013.

Thank You
Patricia

Thank you so much for the gravestone photo.
May I have your permission to use on my ancestry.com family tree?

Would you like his memorial transferred to you so that you can add your remembrances of him? I am not related. I loved your memories. those are the things that make people special. Let me know.

RE: Wm/Willis Crauswell grave
I figured it was too big to just walk, but thought I would ask anyway. Thanks for your help. I'll contact the funeral home and get back to you if I find out anything that would help you locate his grave.

RE: Wm/Willis Crauswell grave
Thanks for your detailed reply. It would sound like some paper work got lost when the cemetery changed hands since the obituary is clear on his burial place (although newspapers do make mistakes as well, but hopefully not where everyone went for his burial!). I will pursue the funeral home contact and hope they are still in business. How big is the cemetery? Can I assume it is too big to just walk to locate a grave? Thanks for all your effort and help.
Diane

Wm/Willis Crauswell grave
Thank you for trying to find William/Willis Crauswell's grave marker in Cedar Hill Cem. It is interesting that the cemetery had no record of his burial since, as you may have read on his memorial, his obituary very clearly states he was to be buried in this cemetery. I will try to contact the funeral home listed and see if they can solve this problem. Additionally, you mention the cemetery records do not list any Crauswells and there are at least 5 listed on Findagrave in this cemetery. Do you think they may be spelling the surname as a variant like Craswell or Croswell? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks again, Diane Gravlee

RE: Newt Barber
There are no other Barber members buried there but maybe if I could find someone kin to Newt and Mamie they could get them headstones.

Newt Barber
I can get you a photo of the lot but Newt doesnt really have a stone really. I do know where a Mamie Louis is buried but has no last name. I figure it is them. His is a small piece of stone that has nothing on it.

RE: Letsons in McCalla
Looked into it further, the Letson's of McCalla are Mostly descendants of Andrew Jackson Letson who's ancestral lands were turned into the Letson Farms development in McCalla. My Great Great Grandfather Calvin Ford Letson, his cousin, taught music at McCalla in the 1870's, so could have been a relative of mine...a distant cousin likely....
