|Rebeltem||RE: William E. Spencer|
So, with the obits: the mothers obit in 1965 says that she was survived by her son William E. However, his obit says he died in 1958, and logically could not have survived his mother in 1965.
I need some aspirin on this one. :)
Guess more research will hopefully shed light on this.
Thank you for your time and if you find anything that helps, please pass is along, I would really appreciate it.

|sonja ||RE: Son of William Truman Jones and Louise Elizabeth Thomas:|
Hello Jennifer, I do have that same copy of my father and his grandfather on the boardwalk. Is there a way to privately send you my email? Let me know. The baby pictures of my father are from when he was born until 1932. I have pictures of your grandmother, her two older sons, and othesr your (my) great-grandmother and more. Thank you, Sonja

Hi Jennifer, My name is Sonja. I have been archiving old photos from albums that my dad had. We have a huge gap in his life. His mother was Louise Elizabeth Thomas and his father was William Truman Jones Sr. I have a bunch of old photos that Louise gave to my father. Most have nothing written on them. Includes the Cosgrove family, Wentzell family, Wells family, Thomas family and Rivers family. If you can email me, I would be happy to send you photos and more information. Thank you. Sonja

|Oh look, a chicken!||RE: Phoebe Ann Wart Thomas|
I really don't know why they are both listed as having died in Phoebe's obituary, but they are, I even went and double checked it. It's a mystery, I've seen a daughter in law, Emma, and a grandson, Clauss mentioned, but not the sons

Hiyer, Jennifer! I have a ton of information for you, but I don't really want to post it here in the public forum. If you set up your Find A Grave 'Message' email, I'll get some of that together for you. :-)
p.s. Me, now, I'm Martin Pulver to George Dallas to Foster to Arline.

Thanx so much for the info on the Martin Pulver and George Dallas Thomas families. I have most of it, though I try to keep mostly a 'bare bones' profile on Find A Grave. However, the Hamilton Gazetteer biographical entry was new to me, and gives me several leads I plan to follow up on.
If you don't mind my asking, are you related to the Thomases? Do you have evidence for Martin's parents' names? We've always been pretty confident that his mother's maiden name must've been Pulver (hence his middle name) but have not yet found any substantiating documents.
Re his wife - in the Orwell / Boyston area most of that family spelled their surname 'Ostrom,' rather than 'Ostram,' but there were variations. Some branches of the family spelled it 'Ostrum,' and there were spellings ('Ustrom' and 'Austrom') that were even more rare.
Just as an aside - do you know why Martin and Anna Ostrom Thomas have no photographs of markers here on Find A Grave? :-)

|PJ Perry||Thanks for all info|
Curious if you have connection to Hicks or Corl? Thanks for all info. I had research Hicks but could not find connection of Hicks connected to Strauf as same Hicks connected to Corl.
