RE: Griggs Cemetary
The Griggs Cemetery in Anson County with the first Griggs in that area buried there is a little hard to find unless you have someone who knows the area with you. When I went I went with someone who knew exactly where to go. If you come from the S.C. side you cross the bridge over Deadfall Creek and go up the hill. The cemetery is on the creek to the right. There is a big ditch that you have to go above to get to the cemetery. If you don't go above that it is almost impossible to cross it. The cemetery is above that big ditch down on the creek. It is possible to cross the bridge on the road and go to the right down to the creek and walk up the creek to it but its hard going. I would suggest going in the winter time when all the leaves and critters are gone. The cemetery is on the road side of the creek. You don't have to cross the creek to get to it.

RE: Griggs Cemetary
Who are your grandparents? I only know of one cemetery in Anson County and I believe the people buried there are two old to be your grandparents.

RE: Griggs Cemetary
Which Griggs Cemetery are you talking about. There are 3 Griggs Cemeteries in Chesterfield County and 1 in Anson County. Let me know which one you want to know where it is at.

RE: cemeteries in sc and nc

I have no info on any of the names you have listed. On the Griggs Cemetery your best bet would be to contact the person who has posted the photos of it and let him tell you where it is at
