The Nasby Mills who was pensioned for service in the Rev War was not this Nasby but his son, Nasby Mills born in 1763. If you would read his deposition and recollections from court records on file in the NC Archives, this is very clear. In These documents he recounts a very detailed report about both of his 3 months tours in the war. His application for pension is quite clear about his birthdate and service. Please correct this on the memorial as it will help to clarify which Nasby is which for other family members who are researching The Mills family.
Do you know about the site www.mikehaydock.com.?
There are some mistakes, but it is a very helpful site.

Thanks for all the memorials in Cox-Mills Cemetery, Aaron Cox was my 4th Great Grandfather, are you the Mason born 1955 or 1976? My mother was Emma Roach from Pitt County, NC. There is so much family in that area on my Mom's side. Feel free to contact me anytime at firstname.lastname@example.org, Jerry Hughes
