re William Bell / Edward Montizambert
Date changes and links added for both. // Out of curiosity, I was checking out a few of your other Bell and Montizambert entries, and (via Ancestry) came across an interesting coincidence: The baptism entry for Charles Nathaniel Montizambert in the parish register of Holy Trinity Cathedral, Quebec City, was signed by my 2nd great-grandfather, Rev George Vernon Housman (he would have officiated), and at the top of the page directly opposite is the baptismal entry for my Grandmother, Mildred Meredith (Mills), who also was Reverend Housman's grand-daughter. JFYI :D

RE: Montizamberts
Thanks for the additional notes. Louisa Helen's memorial is not under my stewardship - you could communicate with the contributor by using the Edit tab on the top right of the relevant memorial page.

Edward Lewis M's baptismal entry in the Parish Record book of the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity records his middle name with the English spelling, Lewis. All documents about him found by this researcher used the English spelling. The francophone origin of his family and surname is acknowledged, and was/is well documented.

My own connection to this family is purely peripheral: my 2nd-Great-Grandfather married secondly to the youngest sister of Lucy Irwin Bowen, Edward Montizambert's wife. Nevertheless, it's always nice to 'meet' an interested and direct member of a family in the branches in one's Tree. Take care, =]) Beth

Thank you for your interesting and your input. Dates have been re-researched, confirmed, and fixed. More bio material has been added, as well as a memorial for her spouse, Edward Lewis M (#112114787). =]) Beth
