Bio and Links
Bio Photo I just started volunteering for this site. I enjoy giving to others and will continue to do so when I can. I was in the Marines from 1987 to 1992 with VMFA232 Red Devils in Hawaii then at Camp Lejeune. I went to Bahrain for Desert Storm in 1991. For all those out there taking photos, thank you and the more taken the merrier so don't hesitate to add to a site that may already have pics especially at different angles. If you have information about that person, contact the editor who created that profile as many cant afford to be on ancestry.com and would love to know about their kin. Love thy neighbor and lets all work together to bring comfort to those who have lost loved ones. Thank you and Semper Fi.

Her inscription is on the back of her brother, G.W. Adelbert Whitney's marker. His side (and the other Whitney's in the cemetery) had been previously photographed and posted, but the prior volunteer just hadn't looked at the back of this marker and had missed Dorcas Flavina.

Drusilla Whitney
Hi Diane.....

I transfered over Drusilla before I saw your other notes but no harm done. Maybe you'll find her in your family tree eventually.

Thankyou for serving our Country!

Hi

I am not related to the Cardamone family. I am just taking pics of St. Joseph's Cemetery for Find-a-Grave.
Sorry

I did have a cousin in Austin but is now back home in TN. So, I do not have any Bybee's there.

Happy Memorial Day weekend.

Floyd and Cornelia Foley
I have just taken photos of the tombstones for Floyd and Cornelia Foley. Please let me know if they are satisfactory. I can retake them when the light is different, if you wish.

I found the obit on GenealogyBank.com
It is a pay site but many libraries have it too.
In the search on GenealogyBank, I entered
Elizabeth Hunter and included keyword Rockford and the year 1925. I believe 2 or 3 obits came up.

Hi Diane
The gravestone says Claricy. You should be able to confirm that by looking at the enlarged version of the stone's picture. Probably was a nickname for Clarissa. Best wishes!
