RE: WILLIAM WHITFIELD II
You are most certainly welcome!!
As I stated I was holding all of goldenrods memorials in trust and pass them along the minute I get a request (with the exception of the line I am directly working on).

At the moment I am not online everyday so if it took me a few days to transfer I do apologize.

I am however happy that he has found a home with his family- if I can be of any other assistance please let me know.

RE: Lemuel Byrd
Sorry it took me so long to get back. I haven't delved too much into my Byrd line as there are several different branches of Byrd. Lemuel Byrd's (ancestry.com shows his name as Samuel Lemuel Byrd, Jr. The father by Ancestry.com is Rev Samuel Lemuel Raspberry Byrd and shows his mother as Caroline George (must have married twice). I didn't know about the relations in Bethel Cemetery when I took the pictures. I don't have too much information on that line yet. I hope to go to the Historic Library Saturday to look up some information. If I find anything I will be glad to pass it on to you. The Lemuel Byrd I have is married to Harriet Jane "Doll" Byrd (also maiden name of Byrd). I'm confused as to my relation. My tree shows Harriet as 1st cousin 2x removed of wife of 3rd cousin 2x removed of me. I now have to find out who the 3rd cousin 2x removed is. LOL
Glad to find more living family. See ya

RE: VIRGINIA ANN BYRD WEAVER
Hello Nancy,

Glad to hear from you. Yes, I will keep my memorial as Virginia Byrd and Thomas Weaver are my husband's great-grandparents. I have worked on the family history for 12 years now but always love to hear from anyone who can add any information that I may not have. You can contact me anytime and I would be glad to share any info I have with you also.

John Howard Byrd
I am also a great granddaughter of J H Byrd. Just starting out in genealogy and looking for his parents names. I am descended from Monroe Washington Byrd and will be happy to have any information I have from our family's side. Personal description: small in stature, 5'8", light brown hair and blue eyes. Private in the Confederate Army under Ashcroft.

I am not sure when the section was added in Calvary Cemetery. Looking at the cemetery map at http://www.calvarycemeterymarlin.com/ this is what the section was called. I would think maybe it was an addition in 1930 but not sure. If you are looking for someone in particular I can see if I can find them.

RE: Colon and Hazel Yankie
I agree 100%! If there are any others that I have created, please feel free to let me know and I will transfer them to you. I have been doing genealogy for over 25 years. It never gets old to me. If you do not live in this area (Lynchburg) let me know if you need anything from around here. I am happy to help.
Take care,
Beth (Alwaysacloud)
