I have found myself in a move to central |
I have enjoyed working with cemeteries of Dawson, Lumpkin, Cherokee, Hall and Forsyth Counties of North Georgia.
The Forsyth County's Sawnee View Gardens and Mausoleum Cemetery, in Cumming, Georgia, now has all photos uploaded, however, I am updating the entries from other sources. It is the last complete cemetery that I photographed in North Georgia.
If you find your name listed as a survivor in an obituary I have posted and would like your name removed, just ask. It will be removed promptly. I think obituaries add a lot of genealogical information that if not captured will be lost, with cremation on the rise related to the cost of living, this may be all that remains to memorialize our families.
If a newspaper or funeral home has already published a name in an obituary, your anonymity is already compromised, if that's what you want to call it that (But with the internet ruling our world, what is private anyway ?)
Please feel free to use any of my photos found on find a grave in your family histories.
Happy Hunting, Bren

I really appreciate the time and effort you put into searching for a grave with Carrie's name. I am quite happy with the photograph you posted of the unmarked grave right next to her husband's grave, as that is the most logical place for her to be buried. =) God bless you for all your work!
I would like to keep hers being she was a friend and her headstone is not posted.

A distant cousin and I have been working on that for years!! We have been unable to find Amy in the census prior to her marriage. The only thing we have is that according to my 3rd cousin Justine, Amy had a twin sister named Ada. And supposedly Amy was born and raised in Upson County. This is one of our brick walls we have been unable to knock down.

Yes, if you wouldn't mind, I would love to have him. He is my great-grandmother's brother. My # is 47149766

Although Lucinda's last name on her marriage record is incorrectly recorded as Furlow her name is really Lucinda Farley. She is the daughter of John and Delaney Durham Farley. The family is recorded as living in Jones and Meriwether County, Georgia.
Thank you for your invaluable service!
