Galbraith-Jett Cemetery AEC 29
Maggie, I realized I have written to you before. I too am interested in the AEC cemeteries in Anderson and Roane County. I live in Roane Co and am now working at Bull Run Steam Plant. I am on temporary assignment there but should be there another month at least. I get off at 3:30 so have decided I would like to try and find some of these cemeteries and photograph all of the headstones. There is no location information on this cemetery or on the memorials. I see that you have taken one picture at least, at this cemetery, and am wondering if you would mind telling me where the cemetery is. I would greatly appreciate it. You can send me a reply to this message, or you can write to me directly at my email address jsbthomas@gmail.com. I look forward to hearing from you. Jan

Margaret Gallaher photo
Question about Margaret's headstone at Gallaher #12. Do you remember if she is buried beside James? I think she is James' wife. I thought she was James' sister for a long time, but just now working on the cemetery records, I realized she was born 10 years before his sister Margaret. Just curious of you remember the location of the graves. Maybe the picture of her grave is next to the picture of his grave which would probably indicate they were next to one another.

Civil War soldiers
Thanks again Maggie, I just completed the paper work to submit Pleasant Shannon to the In Death Not Divided registry of Civil war graves at the East Tennessee History center. You were a big help in this.
