Please transfer the memorial for William A Rossow # 157206497 to me. He is my great uncle and was always part of my life. I have added his parents and siblings into Find-A-Grave and want to add several things to the memorial. I appreciate that you put him into the system. Thank-you! LaVon Yuill

I added the obit you sent.
I also have the full obituary for my records, but didn't think it would be proper to include all of it in the memorial. However, thank you for sending it, but I am going to leave it as is.

With gratitude for adding the obituary to this memorial! Because of it, I was able to find 4 of his siblings that had been lost to family history. After the death of his mother 5 of the 9 children were given to relatives or adopted out and now all but one have been accounted for.
Thank you so much!

Thank you very much for the obit! Virginia sounds like a very interesting person, and now I know what the flying symbol on her maker stood for.

After a couple weeks of digging around, long story short: Peter Pasanen's grave is at the North Savo Apostolic Lutheran Church Cemetery. There are TWO Savo Cemeteries! About six miles apart, and both hidden away unless you're looking for them. At the local museum, one of their books about the Finnish settlers, it says that Peter Pasanen was hit by an automobile and died from his injuries. The name is spelled the same on both the book and on the stone, and the years on the stone and book are both 1932. I don't know how much this helps! I would be interested in knowing where the newspaper article on his page originated. I notified Find A Grave about the North Savo cemetery, and they have already listed it on their registry. I emailed them tonight about Peter's grave being at the North Cemetery, and I'm guessing they will move it over soon.

I will confirm with Sacred Heart, there is a gentleman there helping track down the family. Maybe we can confirm some dates :--)
