I began looking into my family history in the summer of 2012, and it has been unbelievably rewarding.|
Now that I have a good grasp on where a lot of my family came from, I want to do my best to help others find family memories as well.
I hope that anything I contribute gets used in many different ways to help people learn about their families. If I posted the information, you feel free to use it in ANY way you want.

see if we have any information to share with each other about our family. I have a tree in Ancestry.com Fred McCartney Ida Bell Johnson
Ida Bell was my Grandmother she was the Grandaughter John Martin Johnson Born 1836 on Martins Creek in Johnson's Hallow Tennessee. His Father Jefferson relocated with his family to Putnam County Missouri near the border of Iowa and Missouri

It is Melissa here. You have caught me in a genealogy frenzy right this week. I'm polishing several of 20 entries for exhibit this week at the county fair.
Yes, & I see you caught me in the Rose Cem., I've been there a lot!
Just got a real surprise today, I have 3 trees, a maternal tree for my grandma, a maternal tree for my grandpa; then one tree for the paternal Johnson & Richmond for grandpa & grandma.
I just got a maternal grandma line marrying her spouses line...that is crossing trees! I'm amazed.
Have previously had maternal grandpa's line marrying into the Johnson (paternal line) but this was a new trick for me. Whew!
And I found it while preparing his entry of documentation of his first spouses line. Wow!
Judging for us is next Wed., so this is crunch time as I polish the entries and add tags for exhibiting.
You have any Hannah connections in central Iowa?
Use my e-mail for family talking.
Will get back to you.
