Bio and Links
Bio Photo My father was from Waelder, Tx , my mother from Gonzales, Tx, and I always knew that I would retire in the area. I found this site and decided to help with the local cemeteries. Once they are finished my wife, Sandra, and I hope to help with other cemeteries. Since we have taken so many headstone pictures, we decided to choose our own. The picture to the left is the back side of our stone. My gr gr grandfather settled near Waelder in 1881 and in 2008 my father and I applied for The Heritage Farm Recognition from the State of Texas. It is given to families who have lived on the family farm and and have kept the farm as a working farm for more than 100 years. We have realized how a site like this can help one find their ancestors.

RE: Roeper
Yes I have pictures of Daisy and Carl I just never knew who the rest of the family was. Daisy was very beautiful. My grandmother has passed and we just weren't sure how everyone was related.

My grandmother had pictures of Daisy and Carl in her album. I often wondered how/ if they were related and if Daisy and Carl had relatives to contact.

I am DELIGHTED to manage Bessie and Sallie Davis. I'll let you know if I find your name on any other relatives' memorials, whether mine or Jim's.
Thank YOU for all YOU do for those of us looking for our ancestors.
Kind regards, Carolyn

RE: M Reed
Sandy, the details were taken from their death certificates. Their son James was married to my great grandmother's sister.

Ella Jay in Waelder Cem.
Thank you so much for your time searching for the grave marker of Ella Wallis Jay in the Waelder Cemetery. Your hard work is appreciated. I have been out of the country, so it took me a while to respond to you.

RE: Auguste Baus
I'm sorry, we're not related to Auguste Baus. We photographed all the grave markers in the Comal Cemetery and uploaded photos for many memorial pages that didn't have them.

While doing so, we noticed that some birth or death dates are incorrect, or husbands and wife are not connected, or some other piece of information is missing or incorrect and we submitted edits to the memorial page with the corrections/additions.

Is the large family plot you mentioned with the large cedar tree located in Comal Cemetery?
