William Thiel @ Mount Pleasant Cemetery
Hello, I went and photographed William's grave marker yesterday. I noticed however that the year referenced on Find A Grave in regards to the year he passed being 1946 however the marker reflects 1948. He is the only William Thiel listed in the cemetery and as I could find no others while there. I believe this to be the William you are looking for however I wanted to reach out to you before uploading the photo. Please let me know if you wish me to upload it. :)

RE: August Ehlert at Forest Home Cemetery
I went to photograph the grave marker today, but instead of August Ehlert I found the grave location for Herman Ehlert (9/20/1879 to 3/26/1958).

Could the cemetery have given you the location for the wrong person? There was an empty lot, so it is still possible that August is buried in the same lot. I just don't want to post photos if it is the wrong grave location.

August Ehlert at Forest Home Cemetery
Good morning Sir/Ma'am. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to contact Forest Home Cemetery and obtain the grave location (Section & Lot numbers) for your photo request(s), ask them whether or not there is a grave marker, and then either post this information to the memorial or send it to me.

Forest Home Cemetery: 708-366-1900 or 773-287-0772

Should you choose not to accept this mission, your photo request will most likely continue to go unfulfilled. This message will not self destruct in five seconds. Good luck! Ace

His memorial:

Forest Home is a massively humongous cemetery with well over 100,000 burials, and the information is vital in order to photograph a grave for you. Forest Home disavows all photo volunteers, refusing to aid them in finding graves, so your mission is indispensable and integral to helping fulfill your photo request.

From the Find A Grave Dossier: All personnel are advised that Find A Grave states it is the responsibility of the photo requestor to provide the grave plot (section and lot number) to assist the volunteer photographers.

Mission Success: Last year I successfully completed 200 photo missions at Forest Home Cemetery that had the grave location provided by the photo requestor. In just over a year I have successfully concluded over 1,400 photo missions with over 600 already successfully completed in 2014.

Mission Failure: Impossible

RE: Trusheim Family
Recheck Trusheim memorials, I was able to find a source and with your sources was able to authenticate your correct spelling. Left explanation for other spelling under Note section. I hope this clears things up a little. Again I apologize for any misunderstanding.

RE: Trusheim Family
I'm going by the spelling in burial records and the funeral home records. I'm not in disagreement; but I have to spell the name as it is in records and on gravestones. I too, have ancestors with their names misspelled but we have to follow public document spelling. The family name as I understand it is spelled both ways. If you can send me a source that spells them Trusheim and Findagrave will allow it I will happily change the spelling. So far my only sources have the spelling of Truesheim.

I took your photos yesterday for Schriever's. Please take time to look at 3 photos for each memorial. Did not know what the inscription means, but if you are doing family research, believe it will be valuable to document where they came from. Make sure to view the 3rd photo. Enjoy.

Today I will post a photo for William Jung. Alson on the same stone are Margaret d. 1884 and Josephine d. 1930. If you create the memorials I will post the photos.

Milton Herbert Kuhlman
I checked with the Mound City Hall, where they hold the burial records for the Mound Union Cemetery. According to them, Milton is not buried in the Mound Union Cemetery in Mound, MN, William Charles is the only Kuhlman buried there.

I did a little checking on Heritage Quest and did find that in 1940 Milton was living with his family in Stillwater.

If you are certain that he was buried in a "Mound Cemetery", there are several Mound Cemeteries in Minnesota and Wisconsin. However, there are a couple of of Mound Cemeteries closer to Stillwater, I am using that as a baseline being as he had lived there, that might be more of a likely candidate. Mound Cemetery in Brooklyn Center, MN is about a 35 minute drive from Stillwater. Mound Cemetery in Downing Wisconsin it is about an hour drive from Stillwater. There is also a Mound Cemetery in Racine, Wisconsin, but is is over an hour away from Lowell, Wisconsin.

If Milton was listed as being buried in a "Union Cemetery", and it is possible that he was buried in Minnesota, I would check in the area around Stillwater, which is in Washington county. The other counties that surround Washington are: Dakota, Ramsey, Anoka and Chisago.

The Union Cemeteries in these counties are as follows:
In Washington County, there is no Union Cemetery.

In Dakota County:
Union Cemetery in Inver Grove Heights

In Ramsey County:
Union Cemetery in Maplewood
Union Cemetery in White Bear Lake

In Anoka County, there is no Union Cemetery

In Chisago county:
Union Cemetery AKA Oak Hill Cemetery, in North Branch.

If he died in Dodge County, Wisconsin, and it is possible that he was buried in Wisconsin, there are 2 Union Cemeteries in Dodge County, one in Lebanon and in Theresa, Wisconsin.

Hopefully my extra thoughts might lead you in finding Milton. I wish you the best of luck.
