Harold A. Green
Hi Peter,

Noticed that you sponsored the memorial I created for Harold...if he's family and you'd like a transfer just let me know. He's the Dad of one of my classmates (all the way back to 3rd Grade), Cheryl.

All my best, Mark Utley

RE: Papenfuhs
Charlotte died in 13 May 1997 in Westchester, NY -- I would get in touch with the public library there, maybe they could help you find an obit. Bert also died in the same place in Aug of 1983 -- once you have the obit - if it mentions the funeral home - you can contract them and inquire about the burial location. Good luck.

RE: Levi Scranton

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE RESEARCH YOU ARE DOING on Levi Scranton for me! I truly appreciate it! Unfortunately, I do not have anything proving dates and places, I found the info on FindAGrave. Please let me know if you or Nancy are able to come up with anything else.

RE: Levi Scranton
He could be in a lot that was reserved for Hyrum M. Scranton. Hyrum Sr died in Montrose, Lee, Iowa. He was a brother to Levi. The lot is in the St. David Cemetery. Mack Scranton jr and his wife violet are also buried there.

Grave at Cumberland - Mountain View
I happen to have a 08:00 appointment down the street from the location. I will check in morning around the appointment time.

I believe the graves are covered over and are now part of Pioneer Park in Mountain View. 1969 is rather late for burial here (I was raised nearby), is it possible he was buried somewhere else? Did you check the VA records?

I will take pictures of what I find, but I doubt there are any gravestones left, just a historic marker.

If you do believe he is buried here let me know, I can contact somebody to see if they have pictures from the time prior when gravestones showed.

RE: Levi Scranton
The information came from his daughter Emma Elizabeth Scranton Wilson. My husband's grandmother. Levi also known as Bill Lee. He had a homestead along the San Pedro River. He cut fence posts and firewood for a living. They moved to the San Pedro River area when Tombstone started booming. His name also at times has a W before the Levi.
